Intelligences

Intelligence is the ability to use memory, knowledge, experience, understanding, reasoning, imagination and judgement in order to solve problems and adapt to new situations.

Proposed by Howard Gardner in 1983, the theory of multiple intelligences has revolutionized how we understand intelligence.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise, understand and manage emotions in ourselves and others.

Lateral thinking is solving problems through an indirect and creative approach, using reasoning that is not immediately obvious and involving ideas that may not be obtainable by using only traditional step-by-step logic.
